Combitech söker Architect & DevOps engineer, för uppdrag hos kund Beskrivning Architect & DevOps engineer, nivå 4 We are looking for a senior software developer who can take a leading role in the technical architecture and DevOps engineering of our software development environments. You will help shape how development tools, pipelines and platforms fit together, while remaining hands-on in building, deploying and improving them. You will join a team of software developers working with Agile and DevOps practices. Together, you will create reliable, secure and maintainable environments that help our teams deliver high-quality software. What you will do • Design the architecture of software development environments, including tool integration, deployment patterns and technical dependencies. • Evaluate technical options and document design decisions, trade-offs and operational implications. • Design, build, test and deploy development tools and services, including solutions such as Bitbucket and Artifactory on Kubernetes. • Develop CI/CD pipelines covering builds, automated testing, security scanning and releases. • Improve the reliability, maintainability and security of development environments. • Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to understand needs, solve technical problems and guide implementation. • Share architectural knowledge and mentor less-experienced colleagues. Your profile You have a BSc or MSc in computer science, electronic engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. You bring senior-level software development experience and have designed or significantly evolved development environments—not just operated individual tools. We would particularly value: • Strong knowledge of Linux, container technologies and Kubernetes • Experience designing integrated CI/CD and development-tool environments • Ability to explain architectural choices, assess trade-offs and turn designs into working solutions • Experience with Git, artifact repositories and databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or NoSQL • Experience with Jenkins or similar CI tools, including pipelines for testing, security scanning and deployment • Scripting or programming in Python, Bash, Perl or a comparable language • Familiarity with tools such as SonarQube, Confluence, Vault or Mattermost Experience with DevSecOps, vulnerability scanning, APIs, database migration tools, cloud platforms or agentic AI development is a plus. You are proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to see both the overall architecture and the practical details needed to make it work. You enjoy collaborating, communicating your reasoning and helping others grow.
