Combitech söker Design Lead - Reactor Pressure Vessel Decommissioning, för uppdrag hos kund Beskrivning Design Lead - Reactor Pressure Vessel Decommissioning The Role Includes: - Leading the Lot 3 and Lot 4 engineering team (approximately 6 engineers). - Developing Site Execution Plans that translate work packages into executable site activities. - Defining execution sequences, resources, personnel, equipment, tools, workspaces, and material flows. - Ensuring technical solutions are practical and fit for site execution. - Reviewing execution plans with site personnel and incorporating feedback. - Identifying technical risks, execution constraints, and opportunities for improvement. - Supporting recovery planning and execution optimization. - Coordinating engineering activities with Technical Leads, Site Management, and Project Logistics / Integration. The assignment concerns a major decommissioning project, involving segmentation, waste handling, and dismantling of large reactor internals and components across four Lots. The project is now entering a phase where multiple Lots are executed in parallel, requiring close integration between engineering, logistics, and site execution. We are seeking an experienced Design Lead Dry Works to lead the engineering activities for Lots 3 and 4 and support the planning and execution of dry segmentation activities of RPV. A unique aspect of this role is the opportunity to lead the implementation of a first-of-a-kind technical solution. A new thermal cutting station is currently being developed and tested in a parallel CAPEX project, and the decommissioning project will be the first project where the technology is deployed in full-scale site execution. This is an exciting opportunity to influence both the execution strategy and future decommissioning projects. Profil: • Utbildning: Bachelor's degree or higher education in a technical field. • Krav: We Believe the Right Candidate Has: - 10+ years’ experience working in a technical role within projects - Experience from decommissioning, nuclear, heavy industrial, maintenance, or similar complex execution projects. - Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams. - Experience identifying risks, constraints, and optimization opportunities. • Personliga egenskaper: Strong systems thinking and execution focus. - Ability to bridge engineering and site execution. - Interest in developing and implementing new technical solutions. • Språk och nivå: Professional proficiency in Swedish and English Uppdragsinformation Uppdragslängd: ca 2026-11-02 – 2027-06-30, med möjlighet till förlängning Omfattning: 100% Placeringsort: Västerås/Ringhals
