Systems Engineer
Combitech söker Systems Engineer, för uppdrag hos kund Beskrivning Systems Engineer, nivå 4 Under general direction, responsible for moderately complex systems engineering projects and/or responsible for small systems engineering projects. Responsible for developing new product/system designs and components. Also responsible for requirements, development and creating the high-level system architecture and designs and select major components and for confirming that the designed system will meet requirements. Includes interface definition. In small business units this job also includes systems safety and test. Role typically requires minimum 5 to 8 years of experience. Our department operates within the domain of electronic warfare. Our tasks are to manage that expected functions and performances are achieved during the development, for a complex product with many sub-systems and sub-functions. We design, evaluate and communicate requirements to the organization so that our designers and developers have a solid foundation. The role involves understanding our processes for product development and ensuring that they are followed in our projects. The tasks may include but are not limited to: - Lead the planning of the system work, coordinate collaboration with the stakeholders. - Adapt our processes and lifecycle model, including reviews and decision points, for the specific development needs. - Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers. - Ensure that reviews of the system-of-interest are performed according to plans and requirements. - Contributing to the improvement of systems engineering practices and standards. - Ensure that supporting systems are planned and developed. - Act as a link between customer requirements, system architecture, and agile delivery teams. - Coach and guide development teams in interpreting and delivering on system-level requirements in an iterative, value-driven way. - Contribute to transformation programs focused on improving engineering governance, advancing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices, modernizing digital toolchains, and enhancing cross-discipline collaboration. - Drive traceability, compliance, and validation while supporting the flexibility demanded by agile methods. Profile: - Experience in systems engineering work and have worked in all phases of the product's life cycle. - As a person, you have an interest in processes and have a confident leadership to guide businesses within the systems engineering domain. - Experience and interest of teaching and educating systems engineering based on for example INCOSE, ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 or similar is beneficial. - 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, ideally in defence or similarly regulated environments. - Experience from our company is meritorious. - Experience in engineering fields like Hardware Development, Embedded Development, System Integration & Verification, Radio Frequency or Radar is highly beneficial.
