Combitech söker Software Tester, för uppdrag hos kund Beskrivning Software Tester, nivå 3 Software Tester with a focus on HIL (hardware-in-the-loop) environments. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Software Tester to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and performance of our avionics systems. We are looking for either a high-level tester or a low-level tester to contribute to our mission of delivering cutting-edge technology. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and cases for our avionics software. You will work closely with our engineering teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your role will involve working with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test rigs to simulate real-world conditions and validate software requirements. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts. • Executing tests and documenting results. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects. • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Providing feedback and recommendations for improving software quality. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Software Tester in the avionics, automotive, or embedded fields. • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test rigs, employing technologies such as dSpace or similar. • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages. • Knowledge of avionics software development processes and standards. Meriting: • Experience with both high-level and low-level testing (though the role will focus on one area at a time). • Familiarity with DO-178C or similar avionics software standards. • Knowledge of safety-critical software development. • Experience with agile development methodologies. • Strong communication and documentation skills. • Relevant certifications in software testing or avionics.
