Combitech söker Testare, för uppdrag hos kund Beskrivning Testare, nivå 4 Become an integral part of our Core Team as a QA engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality product for our clients. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, assess risk and priority and design best suitable test activities. Developing, executing, and maintaining manual tests and automated test scripts. Conducting thorough regression testing to identify and address software defects and ensure overall system stability. Developing automation tools and leading the automation journey, coaching the test engineers. Collaborating with developers to understand system architecture and design effective testing strategies. Working closely with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Analyzing business needs, implementation documentation, and design specifications for validity, testability, and feasibility. Developing and maintaining existing automation frameworks. Maintain test environment with deployment, configuration and test data. Helping with process improvement to increase work efficiency and quality delivered. Using tools such as Confluence, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Postman, TestRail, Ansible. As part of our global team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with customers in the UK, Sweden, and occasionally the US. This role may also involve occasional travel within Europe, especially to UK. Requirements: The successful candidate will have a relevant academic background in IT, along with experience in test, and strong requirement analysis skills. Additional experience in various domains, such as dispatch systems, emergency response systems, geospatial technology, would be beneficial. • +5 years of proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role. • Experience with exploratory testing, manual and/or partly automated. • Experience with automated testing tools. • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. • Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues effectively. • Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments. • Experience in Test-driven development (TDD) practices. • Atlassian, Confluence and Jira. • Test automation, including Gherkin and Specflow. • Experience with CCTV/Video solutions.
